Hello everyone! This post is about the yearly celebration of Hallowe'en, today. It is the eve (like Christmas Eve, for instance) of the Christian celebration All Hallows, other wise known as All Saints Day and Hallowtide. The word "Hallowe'en" was shortened from "All Hallows Even" which was someone's pronunciation of "Evening". (All Hallows Eve was also called All Hallows Evening). Hallowe'en is said to be the day when evil spirits are most active, because they're fleeing to be away from the good spirits of the next day. What do you do for Hallowe'en?
