Dawn's World

Hello!

On this page, you can see a bit of what it's like to be Dawn Woodlands. First of all, you can read about me...

Well, in real life, I live in France, I'm of middle school age, and I do homeschooling. I have two loving parents and one sister who is my faithful companion. I also have four cats, which  you can find out more about below. I love drawing and creative writing. I've wanted to be an artist all my life, and I decided upon author and fine artist when I was six. I'm writing several stories, which run upon these genres: fantasy, fairytale, and school. I'm illustrating two of them, and I hope to design book covers for them, as well, if we ever get them printed and bound.

My Pets

We have five cats, who you can see below with a bit about them!

Paws
Gender: Spayed female.
Personality: playful, affectionate, attention-seeking.
Relationship to the others: Samy's sister, Toufkin's half-brother, Bumble's aunt.
Name Origin: When she plays, her paws fly in every direction.

Samy
Gender: Spayed female.
Personality: Shy, timid.
Relationship to the others: Paws' sister, Bumble's mother.
Name Origin: When we got her, she was semi-déplumé (French for semi-furless e.g.she was missing fur on her tummy) so it suddenly occurred to me to call her "Samy". She has all her fur now, of course.

Bumbleberry, also known as Humbug or Bumble
Gender: Castrated male.
Personality: Affectionate, purry, placid, shy of strangers.
Relationship to the others: Samy's son, Paws' nephew.
Name Origin: "Humbug" is a sort of English black-and-white sweet, a traditional name for black-and-white animals, and Bumbleberry is just a cute name my mum came up with, Bumble for short.

Toufkin
Gender: Castrated male.
Personality: Friendly, playful, excitable.
Relationship to the others: Paws' half brother.
Name Origin: Something I just came up with on the spot. You can't say it's not original, can you? :b

My Surroundings

Here are some photos of where I live, in France! I'm not allowed to show you any photos of our house, but here are some of the outside.

    2. I have one, but my favorite picture is where they are all on a rock (when I had three). I had a calico named Cocoa, a black cat named Shadow, and I have a black one named Bear. Bear's full proper name? Lucky Little Bear. My dad wanted him named Lucky, ad my mom wanted Little Bear so voila! Lucky Little Bear! xD

    3. My friends mom was dropping here off, and bear was outside and he was like "hisssss" >:P. Now my friends mom is afraid of Bear xD. Did I tell you about my dog? He is very timid and we adopted him from another family. He is very shy when you first meet him, then he warms up to you :)

    2. http://akouotika.blogspot.com/ is one, and

http://brainsandbooks.blogspot.com/ is one I'm part of that I'm actually admin of :)

Anyway, dubstep is electronic, but it's very bouncy and danceable. It's pretty fun to listen to!

  14. Actually I have a lot of animals to talk about :D So let's get started!

Okay, I do have six horses. My main horse that I jump on is named PJ. He is a brown quarter horse with a white blaze.

    I have 9 dogs, 1 hamster, 2 cats, 6 fish, 2 pigs, 4 rabbits (expecting babies :D :D :D), and 2 turtles.

That's 32 animals in all. I do have 1 sister, but she is not a animal lover.

I don't THINK that Americans make fun of French accents, or vice versa. That wouldn't be polite.

  21. Cool. Your cats are so cute! :D
    I liked them very much.
You know, your cat Humbug and my cat Bubble looks like twins. XD
They both look kind of same. XD
I'll try posting a picture of Bubble in my Cat Blog so you can see it.
    I have a few Cats..
Mimi - She's a kitty, not much big and she's really playful. She is a mixture of Black, White, Grey and freckles of brown and has lime and yellowish eyes. Whenever me or my sis shouts out 'Mimi', the cat comes out running to us.Mimi likes human toes and whenever me or my sis show our toes, he chases us. Mimi is fish crazy. :)
Snowlily - She's Mimi's mother. Snow (for short) is really thin and cute. She is kind of white and grey (mostly), and little bit of light brown. Her voice (the way she says 'Meow') is really pleasant to hear. She usually stays outdoors and comes indoors when she's hungry. She takes really good care of Mimi. We named her Snowlily because she is kind of white and she's as pretty as a lily flower.
Bubble - Like I said, he looks Humbug, black and white. Bubble is really quite and rarely says meow. Bubble doesn't like to play but he's real crazy for food. Bubble and one of my other cat, Tommy are really good friends. They are always near each other.
We thought of his name one day when he tried catching the bubbles we were blowing.
Skippy - She's a very big Cat. Skippy likes to eat buns. Skippy is always saying meow meow. She's also very playful and rarely sleeps. She is white and grey with green eyes and she's real fat. Skippy can jump very high and can skip if we use a rope to play the skip thingy. Skippy skips when we skip. XD
Tommy - He's always outdoor and comes indoors rarely. He liked to stay in shadow as he hates sunlight. He hardly says meow, like Bubble. And Bubble is also Tommy's best friend. Tommy is white with 5 huge (very huge like a mini orange) dots of black.
I love all of my Cats very much. I hope I get more Cats soon. ^.^
