Books

Hello! This is Philly. I thought I'd post some of my favourite books. I may do another post about my friends' stories soon, which are definitely some of my favourites, but the ones in this post are published books by real authors. ^.^ 

Most of these are the exact editions I have. 

The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett is probably my overall favourite published book. :)
  

I love all the Sky Horses books by Linda Chapman, but my favourite is The Whispering Tree.

I love the Little House Books by Laura Ingalls Wilder!

The Malory Towers series by Enid Blyton are one of my favourites.

Five Fall Into Adventure by Enid Blyton is probably my favourite of the Famous Five books. 

I also love A Pebble For Your Pocket by Tich Nhat Hanh.

A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett is also one of my favourites. 

And I also love Anne of Green Gables by L. M. Mongomery.  

The Betsy-Tacy books by Maud Hart Lovelace are great too!

The Magician's Nephew is my favourite of the Narnia books by C. S. Lewis.


I also really like the Chrestomanci books by Diana Wynne Jones, especially The Lives of Christopher Chant!

Well, I hope I didn't bore you with all this! :b What are your favourite books? :)

PS. Leafa kindly made me a nice new signature, which I will start using once the Bluebell Theme has worn off!

    Guardians of the Ga'Hoole, I like ^.^
    I also like...Narnia, Fleabag Trilogy (sob...where IS that book?), Harry Potter is ok...hmm... idk what else :p

    Harry Potter is awesome!

    Not to mention the Legend series, the Redwall series, and ....and....Oh yeah! I like Hattie Big Sky (single book).

    Little House on the Prarie is a good series!

      I like Harry Potter too (I've read the first 5), but they're not in my top favourites. :)
      I haven't read the others you mentioned, apart from Little House on the Prairie, of course. They're great! :D

    My two favorite books are A Mango-Shaped Space and Bliss
    And my favorite series is the Series of Unfortunate Events

    A book (or two) You might like is A Dog's Purpose and A Dog's Journey :) They're about a dog, and he goes through courses of many lives, and then, he finds his purpose at the end of the first book, then in the second one his life... continues!
